Any Place You Are is the Best Place to Be: Our yearning to stay tethered to the immanence of Consciousness

Thursday Oct 3rd, 7-9:30pm

"Any Place You Are is the Best Place to Be: Our yearning to stay tethered to the immanence of Consciousness"

There comes a time, in our way of navigating in the world, in which who we are remains a constant in all situations. Our sense of presence and unchanging awareness becomes unalterable like a blue sky. Though we may be called upon to function in a variety of roles, we come to discover a way to use our skills and training effortlessly in accordance with what is needed and wanted. This comes with great stability and self trust.

As we handle whatever arises with agility, it is like a good tennis player returning the ball. This may demand inner resources, such as effort, courage, or endurance to meet the wide range of life’s joys and sorrows.

The sages have many names for this state— such as natural absorption in the whole– and consider it a state of attainment in which one is never separated from the whole of this manifest world while remaining an active participant on the playing field.

From this expanded viewpoint, any place you are is the best place to be as we are held by the synchronicity of a greater unfoldment…

As we study this you may discover that this is not as beyond your grasp as you may have thought! Maybe you notice that you have begun to get the hang of it as a student of the wisdom teachings and practices like riding a two wheeler… let’s see where we are as we re-convene after summer break..
