A Little Bit of Light

Thursday Jan 7th, 7-9:30pm

"A Little Bit of Light"

We happily, gratefully resume the WYC’s monthly Satsangs Jan 7th! All are welcome as always. We will generate that beautiful space of being held in something larger, a space that lies within all of us, yet which cannot easily be created without each other.

The theme "A Little bit of Light" arises strongly in this holiday time where we usually celebrate, travel and gather with loved ones. Now as we navigate with uncertainties, the upending of the familiar in our families, our communities, our society, how do we rejoice at this time? How do we bring forth light in the midst of the hardship, grief and conflict in the world? It is like an internal crossroads, where the path forks. We chose between the limited or the boundless, the contraction or the expansion, the transient or the perfection, of the present moment untouched by time, a choice that presents itself not once but in every moment. The Sages of Yoga say we both collaborate with the form and with the formless, between revelation and concealment. How can we be just as we are, imperfections and all and fully able to make a little bit of light? Come and explore with us.

Enjoy an evening of high energy with Rudrani, the WYC Director. This monthly program includes group meditation, chanting, yoga philosophy, spiritual teachings and an exploration of the theme of the month. All are welcome. No prior experience needed.
