Booksigning Celebration
Sunday June 30th

11am class co-taught by Rudrani and Barrie* 
1-3pm satsang and booksigning 
 
You are all cordially invited to Rudrani’s Sunday 11am class where we will host Barrie Risman, a graduate of WYC Teacher Training from 1993.

Rudrani and Barrie will co-teach the class followed by an informal satsang on "Evolving Your Yoga: Ten Principles for Enlightened Practice," her newly published book on developing a transformational Yoga practice. 

There will be opportunities for book signing and refreshments will be served, so do stay and enjoy this delightful homecoming!

After Barrie’s training at the WYC, she followed a rich and varied path as a teacher including serving as the head of the Hatha Yoga Dept of SYDA in the Siddha Yoga ashram in upstate NY. She subsequently established her own school in Montreal and was a Senior Anusara Yoga teacher and teacher trainer. Barrie now currently works with teachers and students in an on-line membership called The Skillful Yogi and serves on the faculty of several teacher trainings in the US and Canada.

All are welcome including friends and guests! 

*Regular class prices apply for the 11am class, there is no fee for the satsang and booksigning. Stay after class or arrive at 1pm to join!

The World Yoga Center has always held an esteemed and treasured place in my heart as the place where I discovered yoga more than 25 years ago. It's where the precious seeds of my sadhana were first planted and nurtured. The guidance and learning I received there is reflected throughout this book. It is such an honour to be returning to share "Evolving Your Yoga: Ten Principles for Enlightened Practice” with The World Yoga Center sangham. I look forward to seeing you there!     ~Barrie
