"The mystery of being flawed human beings loving other flawed human beings"
The power of Love remains the strongest power there is in the world and the strongest part of every human being. We cannot learn love from one another if love is not with us. How can we, as flawed imperfect human beings struggling with disappointment, anger, fear and frustration in our world, hold the banner of Love without it being a spiritual pose, an ideology, a way to escape our own minds. In our personal life how do we manage our own flaws and the flaws of others remaining in authenticity and honesty without permitting injury or enabling one another? How are we to love and be loved by others when we are not free of our own limitations? The relational field is the strongest arena for the practice of love. It includes being in family, community, country. Our ability to apply the wisdom of Yoga teachings is a great blessing for us. The teachings are like a sharp knife. They cut through illusion and provide a stable foundation in the reality greater than the human drama. The sages of Yoga also say that what is larger than us also dwells within us —It is deeper even than the cellular level, it is in the very core of our being. Let's explore this..
