We are in a "Meditation Revolution" now for sure
which begins by renouncing the narrative of enmity
for we know intuitively that universal love is our only true choice.
The fear in people around us, or in ourselves
can be channeled into love that is active and non violent
as warriors of peace ever tied to the Dance of Supreme Consciousness. 
That glorious dance remains ever full blown, eternal and indestructible in its power sovereignty and freedom
and we remain as ever Her outer most expression
 
Moving slowly like a big barge that turns around on the river 
our nation can mobilize and move into compassion and true engagement.  
Our young people can stand with the vulnerable along side of us, 
from our schools and  universities, blazoning their love for the human family
in all its diversity
not giving in to frustration rage and violence
 
The massive sangha- the collective- that's being born in our country 
needs recognition.
It is composed of responsible citizens 
who want to own our part 
in the coming into power
of a the American Shadow 
taking responsibility for the healing of the cultural divide 

Everywhere we hear the deep need to "do something" to feel solidarity and clarity
to do the hard work of hope and transformative action 

Either we have been destroyed  by our own complacency and convenience 
or we are being born as a nation
based on unconditional love and non violence 

We are choosing the direction of history right now 
It looks like we will flourish
so may we keep a watchful eye
and stay alert as the sages say, 
it the right time for us all to be here
