300 hr Advanced Teacher Training:

This four weekend training offers overarching concepts of Therapeutics, allowing trainees to hold the potency of Yogic healing for themselves and for others. The course will provide guidance and the practical information needed to navigate and effectively support the therapeutic needs of students and to safely manage their injuries.

The training includes a comprehensive study of how to use the ‘Universal Principles of Alignment’ of Anusara Yoga to invite easefulness and new experiences for students in their body.

We will take an in-depth look into the bio-mechanics of anatomy and kinesiology, inquire into the complexity of human physiology, and learn to identify what we are seeing in our students.

Practicums on how to use ‘hands on’ adjustments with clear guidelines and tools, will enable you to support the vast range of injuries that you will meet both in the classroom and in your private practice.

This 50 hour training is held over four weekends in April and May, giving ample time for the material to be practiced and incorporated, and questions that are bound to arise, to be addressed.

Jackie is a master teacher, who has trained students and teachers in yoga therapeutics and anatomy in our WYC teacher trainings and in Japan since 2005. Jackie is a licensed massage therapist/ Shiatsu practitioner and brings her skills and 20 years of experience as a healer to her work.   Her class work and private practice has brought healing to many students in NYC and in Japan. 

Julia’s view of the divinity of the body springs naturally from extensive training with cadavers and in the fields of anatomy, kinesiology, physiology and embryology, integrating this knowledge with the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment and teachings of Tantra in a way that is deeply inspiring, fascinating and educative.

Jackie and Julia offered an Advanced TT on Yoga Therapeutics last year and we are excited to offer this 50 hour module for our own WYC 300 Hour Advanced TT for 500 RYT.

Sundays 1-4, (9-4pm on April 26 and May 10)

$700, $650 if you register by March 1st.
