Staying Awake : A Job For Superman and Wonder Woman

Thursday February 22, 7-9:30pm

‘Satsang is very precious to me. I treasure the meditations…’ ~WYC Student

"Staying Awake: A Job For Superman and Wonder Woman"

We have been contemplating the paradox of being here on Earth in egoic amnesia caught in the world's drama of religion, politics, culture and family systems, all the while growing in presence, awareness and awakenment. Is it a reasonable visionary goal for us all to stabilize in this awakenment? Can we really be fearless, connected, creative beings, fully secured in the spaciousness that contains the mind? Would we no longer have bad days and good days? Would we want that? What do the sages tell us about staying awake in the midst of the busyness of life? Come and explore ……

The group chose this theme in our last Satsang. Come join us and enjoy our shared learning as we all continue to grow together.

Satsang is an evening of high energy with Rudrani, the WYC Director. This monthly program includes group meditation, chanting, yoga philosophy, spiritual teachings and an exploration of the theme of the month. All are welcome. No prior experience needed.

Call for 66th St. location information 212-877-4153.
Tuiton: $20

We will provide tea and cushions. If you are new to meditation as a practice, there will be instruction to support you. All are welcome.
